The Lord of the Rings

Three Rings for Elven Kings under the Sky

Seven for the Dwarf Lords in their Halls of Stone

Nine for Mortal Men Doomed to Die

And One for the Dark Lord on His Dark throne

In the Land of Mordor where the Shadows lie

One Ring to Rule them all

One Ring to find them

One Ring to Bring them all

And in Darkness Bind them

In the Land of Mordor where the Shadows lie......

Information on the Rings of Power

Sauron's ring was the One Ring, the Ruling Ring, or the Great Ring of Power.

The Three Elven Rings:
Narya (Fire);
also known as the Ring of Fire or the Red Ring

Nenya (Water);
also known as the Ring of Adamant or the White Ring, also called chief of the Three

Vilya (Air);
also known as the Ring of Sapphire or the Ring of Air, also called mightiest of the Three

The dwarven rings and those of the Nazgul are only known collectively as the Seven and the Nine, and if they had each their own proper name they are not known.

The Riddle of Strider

All that is gold does not glitter,

Not all those who wander are lost;

The old that is strong does not wither,

Deep roots are not reached by the frost.

From the ashes a fire shall be woken,

A light from the shadows shall spring;

Renewed shall be the blade that was broken,

The crownless shall again be king.
